How To Make Cannabis Infused Muffins With Chip Muffins

Lastly, it’s important to keep in mind that cannabis ingested can be up to four times more potent. So, if you’re looking to bake with cannabutter, wait until the first muffin is digested and absorbed into your body before indulging further. This banana cannabis muffin recipe is versatile in that you can add virtually any other ingredient with the banana. Feel free to experiment and see what you like best!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • ¾ cup of white sugar
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup of your chosen cannabutter
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Method:

  1. Before you begin, preheat your oven to 375F (190c). Then, grease your muffin pan lightly. You can either use normal butter or papers designed for this purpose if you have any on hand.
  2. Combine 1 ½ cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda,1 teaspoon of baking powder and ½ teaspoon of salt in a large bowl. It’s easiest to mix the ingredients together using a hand mixer, but if you don’t have one available whisking them should also suffice. Just make sure that the mixture has the same consistency throughout.
  3. In the medium bowl, mix together 3 mashed bananas, ¾ cup of white sugar, 1 egg and 1/3 cup of melted cannabutter. Combine the two mixtures into the large bowl until payday.
  4. At this stage, you can add any filling to your muffin mix that you can think of–chocolate chips, blueberries, lavender, or anything else that sounds good to you!
  5. Spoon your mixture into the muffin pan using your spatula, filling each cup roughly ¾ full.
  6. Mix the brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and 1/8 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Cut in 1 tablespoon of butter until it resembles course oatmeal. Sprinkle over your muffins
  7. Preheat your oven to the required temperature. Then, bake your muffins for around 20 minutes. You’ll know they’re done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
